Online learning

There are a number of online systems that we sign up to as a school that you can use to support learning at home.  Your child has unique logins for these products (Class staff can inform you of these if they child has forgotten) and they can be accessed at these sites:

There are also many things that you can do as a family that will promote learning and sustain family unity. Here is a list of examples, feel free to let us know how you got on: 

Mindfulness (There a lot of ideas and activities suggested here: ) 

Arts and Crafts – drawing, painting, making cards, knitting, sewing, woodwork etc. 

Learn to cook a simple meal (Some recipe ideas: ) 

Board Games 

Watch documentaries (you could even write or record your views after watching) and films (you could write or record a review) 

Play garden games 



Yoga ( for Primary aged children, or and for older students) 

Reading – family members can read to each other 

Comparing books and films 

Household chores (cleaning, tidying, washing up etc.) 

Keep a diary, notepad, sketchbook (or use digital media) to express thoughts, feelings whilst away from school. This can be shared with staff through email, or looked at together on their return to school.
