Governance - the work of the IEB
We work as a team, having responsibility for making sure the school provides a good quality education for all our pupils. Raising educational standards in our schools is key to our work.
Our IEB members have high expectations for all pupils and our aim is to ensure our children get the best from their time in school.
Our IEB promotes effective ways of teaching and learning when helping to formulate and set the schools aims and policies. They do this together with the principal, who is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of their school.
Our IEB members support and challenge the principal by gathering views, asking questions and discussing what's best for the school.
